Ways I Serve My Husband

I am thankful that my husband provides so much for our home. In return, I always look for ways to help make his life a little easier! Here are a few ways you can serve your husband on a daily basis that allow him to enjoy his time at home with the family instead of worrying about these tasks.

Prepare His Work Stuff

Each night while I am closing up the kitchen, I ensure everything my husband needs for work the following day is in a pile ready for him to grab. Lunch box, sunglasses, wallet… everything he needs! Now if he disperses the pile in the morning, that’s on him lol. But at least he will have it all ready to roll out the door.

Pack His Lunches

Packing lunch is honestly the worst! I take that task off hubby’s plate so he has a nutritious meal daily. I want to make sure he isn’t skipping out on a good lunch because he didn’t want to make it. Plus, having a meal made out of love that you can enjoy mid work day is the best.

Sweep the Bathroom

Lol… this may be more aimed at our lifestyle since we have the kitty litter box in the bathroom. But I strive to sweep the bathroom daily before Hubs takes his after-work shower. Nothing is worse than being freshly cleaned and stepping out into a pile of kitty litter.

Make Dinner

I aim to have dinner done by the time hubby is home from work or will be done by the time he is out of the shower. A fresh hot meal and then some family time equals a golden evening!

Love In His Language

Everyone has their own love language, it is the form or method an individual likes to be loved and valued. My husband’s love language is physical touch, so I strive to love him daily with a simple touch to the arm or snuggles on the couch. It lets him know I am thinking of him.

Greet Him

Hubs normally arrive home at the same time every single day. So when we hear dad pulling in the driveway, the babies and I make our way to the front door to give him a big ole smile and hug. It helps him leave the work juju at the door and know we are ready to love on him.

Being able to do these few things for my husband is truly an honor. They are quick, effortless tasks that help me show my love for him and make his life a little easier.
