Travel Plans Post-Graduation

Ayyyyyoooooo!!!! Happy to see you’ve stuck around another day to read one of my graduation posts! Yesterday I shared all the places I have traveled while in college, so I figured it would be fun to share my travel plans post-graduation!! This list is definitely shorter than yesterday’s because I plan vacations maybe two months out max…. like to live on the edge and just go when I please! 

My first spot I’ll be traveling to immediately after graduation is another Navy Girlfriend Getaway! Jordyn and I are flying down to Virginia Beach for a long weekend! Y’all probably saw this one coming as I’ve been throwing hints about here! We will be visiting with Kyles family, apartment hunting, enjoy the beach after a long semester AND most importantly planning some super fun content for the next month! Can’t wait to be sharing with y’all the fun things we will be planning and sharing!! Super excited to be going on another Navy Girlfriend Getaway…. if you haven’t already, be sure to check out our video from our last NGG (Video is linked above)!! 

After this trip, I will be doing a long weekend with my cousin in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are running the warrior dash and then going to spend some time exploring the city and then will head down to the beach for some much-needed relaxation! Excited for this trip because it’ll be the turning point for my life… after I leave Ohio for this I will not be coming back!! 

You’re probably wondering where I’m going from there! After I leave Ohio, I will be staying in the Myrtle Beach area for a month or so to take some much needed time off of life! It’s been a crazy last five years and I know once Kyle comes home my life is going to get crazy again! Super excited to take this time off, spend time with my mom, and work on some exciting goals I’ve got for this year!! 

After Kyle gets home, we plan to take a weekend trip somewhere to enjoy some much-needed quality time after this long deployment!! We’ve bounced around multiple ideas and have yet to come to an agreement… suggestions are happily accepted!! We’ve discussed Siesta Key, Colorado, Canada, and even the Virgin Islands…. stay tuned to see where we end up going!! Once Kyle and I have settled down and started our lives together we plan to take a vacation in a year or so to celebrate our accomplishments!! We’ve been looking into St. Lucia and I’ve recently had my interest sparked in Tulum, Mexico (Kyle doesn’t know this yet… but I love this place lol)! 

There isn’t much travel set in stone yet for after July but who knows… y’ all know I’m really spontaneous and love to just get up and go!! We shall see where 2019 continues to take me! I definitely foresee another Navy Girlfriend Getaway towards the end of the year…. maybe California ;)! Jordyn and I are gonna need some girl time once the boys come home! If y’ all have any suggestions on places to visit for quick weekends send them my way because I’m already getting excited about planning more trips this year!!
