How to style a little brown bag

Happy Monday y’all! I’ve been busy redesigning my site, planning content, and deciding on a plan of action I want to take for my blog! I’m super excited to be back and to share all of the exciting things I have been working on. To start off each week, I am going to be sharing on Monday’s items from my closet: My Closet Monday’s (MCM’s)! People get so caught up in “new trends” and feel like they need to buy new items to keep up… which can get pricey! I’m here to show y’all that your options are endless just from the items one may already have in their closets. For my first MCM, I have teamed up with Saint Lombard to show y’all how to style your favorite over the shoulder purse with clothes already in your closet. I’ll also be giving some pointers on what to keep in your purse.

Saint Lombard is a handbag company based out of San Francisco, California. Their goal is to create an ethically sustainable purse for busy women on the go. They use materials and methods that are safe for the planet while creating the best quality bag. All of their bags are hand-crafted just outside Florence, Italy and have exceptional craftsmanship that results in the best quality so that their bags can uphold the busy lifestyle of the 9am-9pm woman. The leather used on these bags is vegetable tanned which produces earthy tones that continue to flourish over time.

The bags they produce are nothing short of perfect for the busy woman. I myself am constantly on the run so having a bag that suits my needs is crucial. Not only do their bags suit my everyday needs, but they also go well with my variety of fashion styles. One day I may be in casual clothes whereas another day I may be in a business suit for a work meeting. Their bags compliment all of my outfits and are the perfect size to hold all of my needs.

On a day-to-day base, I always have my purse with me because I may never know what I need from it. When I have the cross body purse with me, I make sure I have my wallet, a beauty bag which has: a hairbrush, chap-sticks & lip-glosses, teeth whitening stick, dental floss and lotion, I also keep a pen or two and my keys. If I have the tote with me, I make sure I have all my goodies from my over the shoulder plus my laptop, my agenda, and a water bottle. With being on the move all the time, these little things seriously come in so handy.
