• Construction Paper

Instructions

1. First, pick a spot in your house to create the tree. This could be in your child’s playroom, living room corner, or even a hallway. Ensure it’s a space that your toddler can easily reach and interact with.
2. Cut out the outline of a tree trunk that can be used as the tree’s base. Stick this to your desired area with painter’s tape to prevent wall damage.
3. Using the clear packing tape, create the shape of a tree canopy with the sticky side facing outwards. This will be the canvas on which your little one can stick the leaves onto the tree branches.
4. One of the best parts of this tape tree is how easy it is to refresh and update! You can rotate the decorations throughout the fall season. Start with classic autumn leaves, and as Halloween approaches, add some spooky elements like pumpkins, bats, or friendly ghosts.
