Hello and happy Tuesday friends! For my graduation post today I am sticking with my typical Tuesday travel posts! I am sharing all the places I have visited while I was in college! As I began creating this list I was shocked at all the places I have ventured to! Youll definitely pick up on a pattern of the states I liked to visit!
Panama City Beach, Florida
This was my first vacation as a college student… it was the spring break must for college students. The beach was beautiful, the parties were fun, and overall was a good first trip for a group of friends. Would I go back? Probably not.
Raleigh, North Carolina
My mom moved here shortly after I started college. I would go down and visit with her on breaks because it was a quick drive for me to make from school. I have fallen in love with this city and wouldn’t mind living on the outskirts of town when Kyle and I decide on a place to settle down. They have a farmers market on Saturday mornings that has the best homemade salsa and lemonade!
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
I have spent a significant amount of time in the Myrtle Beach area. Definitely, a fun tourist city but can get a tad crowded. I’d definitely suggest to head more north towards cherry grove (there are shag dancers in all the clubs, so cool to watch) or even across the border into calabash where there is the best creamery!
Fayetteville, North Carolina
I have family in Fayetteville and I love stopping by and visiting! I’ve done a few day trips here and my uncle has shown me all around the city and Fort Bragg!
Jekyll Island, Georgia
This is a quiet little island that is filled with tons of golf courses! Definitely a spot to just chill on the beach or hit a couple of rounds on the course. They do have
Saint Simons Island, Georgia
Another little island filled with lots of golf course but also has more spots to sightsee at! Saint Simons is just north of Jekyll Island so its easy to go between the two of them. Many historic sites to visit and lots of fun little boutiques to shop in downtown!
Hilton Head, South Carolina
Another one of my favorites! The beaches are beautiful and there is still so much greenery! They also have frosty frog which is a cafe with an alcohol slushy bar! I could spend a few weeks relaxing on this island!
Charleston, South Carolina
This is one of my favorite day trips! It’s not far from Myrtle Beach which makes it easy to turn into a day trip! The waterfront park is my favorite because it has a pineapple fountain! And the beautiful history in the architecture is so fun to walk around and look at!
Oak Island, North Carolina
Oak Island will always hold a special place in my heart! I was able to watch my first sea turtle nest hatch and I also found my first full conch shell here. There is also a restaurant called Turtle Island and they have the best boom boom shrimp!
Norfolk, Virginia
I love downtown Norfolk! It has the perfect city life and some of the best restaurants! Between Kyle showing me around and exploring the city on my own, I have discovered Norfolk has so much to offer! My all-time favorite part about Norfolk is Lamia’s Crepes… seriously best crepes ever!
Orlando, Florida
If you want cliché tourist attractions this is your spot… that’s all I gotta say!
Chicago, Illinios
My friend Jordyn and I did a weekend trip to Chicago for a navy girlfriend getaway! It was fun seeing the city and it was fun to explore Kyles hometown! Check out our video from the trip!
Washington, DC
My mom and I took a quick weekend trip to DC and we had so much fun! This is definitely a busy city and there is so much to see! Our favorite part was Arlington national museum and the super yummy donuts we got from
Virginia Beach, VA
Ahhhh and last but not least…. My soon to be home! Will be sharing more about Virginia Beach on Friday (:
