Happy Sunday friends! It’s been one week since I launched BWH and I can’t thank y’all enough for the love! Getting to this point has definitely been a roller coaster but I stayed positive throughout the entire process. And here I am, writing my second post. There were many times I felt defeated in getting here, but I always tried to look at the positive side of the situation. In all of the decisions I made, situations that arose and hard times, I would remind myself that there is always something positive in what’s happening. This is something that I have been trying to remind a lot of people in my life. We have a lot to be thankful for and sometimes we tend to overlook that when we have something come up. Yes, times most certainly get rough, but you can’t let that beat you down. In almost any situation, there is a tiny crack you can find some type of positivity.

I get it, you’re probably saying how? Well evaluate the situation or decision you’re confronted with, the look to see how it would have impacted you in different ways.  For example, your boyfriend broke up with you and you are heartbroken over it, but you realize he would have only hurt you more if you stayed together. Or, you lost your job and aren’t sure what to do, well maybe now you can work at opening the business you wanted to start. Different outcomes could have affected your life differently and maybe that’s something to be grateful for.

If we constantly think negative about something, we are letting it prevent us from finding some awesome positivity. For example, if I wouldn’t have quit Disney, I wouldn’t have been able to travel as much as I did or visit with family as much. Traveling the coast and getting to spend a large amount of time with family I think is definitely a positive to leaving. It’s not just that aspect though, we constantly complain about little things in life as well.

Many of us are fairly privileged compared to others and we tend to take that for granted. We complain our house isn’t warm enough in the winter, but we need to be thankful we aren’t stuck in the snow with nowhere to go. Many of us live life’s that others wish they had. Which is why needed to start looking at the positives in life.
